Plans are already underway for the ninth annual Crystal Ball, the Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi's only fundraiser. The Crystal Ball enables the Hernando-based Community Foundation to help non-profit organizations in its 8 county region with grants and charitable programs. Over the past 4 years, the Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi has contributed $2 million to approximately 200 non-profit organizations.

At the Crystal Ball, the Foundation also honors recipients of the Community Star award, an award given to a man, a woman, a business, and a non-profit organization that displays charitable works in our community.

You can be a part of this wonderful extravaganza!

* Make plans to attend the Crystal Ball. You will enjoy an evening of great food, dance to music from a live band, have the opportunity to participate in a live and silent auction, and celebrate the charitable works of the Community Stars while supporting the Community Foundation and its charitable work

* Volunteer! Be hands on in making the Crystal Ball an extraordinary affair.  Volunteers drive this event. Opportunities are available from decorating to ticket sales to collecting auction items. There is a place for every volunteer in making the Crystal Ball a sensational gala for Northwest Mississippi.
